Get to know more about Grace Place Maternity Home

Grace Place Maternity Home is a Chicago-based housing stabilization initiative serving expectant and new mothers experiencing housing insecurity during pregnancy and early postpartum. We provide structured, time-bound transitional housing combined with case management and coordinated support to prevent homelessness at birth and promote long-term maternal and infant stability.

Founded in Chicago, Grace Place was created in response to the real challenges many mothers face, including housing instability, limited access to resources, and a lack of consistent support during pregnancy and early motherhood. We believe no woman should have to navigate this season alone.

At this stage of our growth, Grace Place focuses on meeting immediate needs while building toward long-term impact. Our current initiatives include providing baby bags filled with essential items for both mother and baby, as well as connecting women to trusted community and healthcare resources. These efforts allow us to support mothers with compassion and respect while laying the groundwork for future housing solutions.
